Witness appeal after motorbike rider killed in crash

Police have appealed for witnesses after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash yesterday (January 2).

The motorcycle hit a BMW car on the B2177 Winchester Road at Waltham Chase at around 1.45pm. The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The car driver, a 23-year-old woman, was treated for shock but otherwise uninjured.

Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle immediately before it.
